Lapcare LapxPro Privacy Filters — The Full Range by Screen Size and Model
Privacy filters are cut to the exact screen, so the right one depends on the device, its diagonal and its aspect ratio. This guide walks through every size and model in the Lapcare LapxPro range — Windows laptops, Microsoft Surface, MacBooks and desktop monitors — and how to choose between them.
In short: Lapcare’s LapxPro range covers Windows laptops (13″, 14″, 15.6″), Microsoft Surface, MacBooks (Air 13″/15″, Pro 14″/16″, standard and magnetic) and 21.5″, 23.8″ and 27″ monitors. Pick by exact device, then aspect ratio (16:10 for most laptops and MacBooks, 3:2 for Surface, 16:9 for monitors), then magnetic or tab-and-adhesive fitting.

What every Lapcare LapxPro filter has in common
LapxPro is Lapcare’s privacy filter range. Across it, the filters share the same core behaviour: a 60° viewing-angle restriction that keeps the screen clear for the person directly in front while blacking it out for anyone beside or behind; an anti-glare, anti-reflective surface that cuts overhead and window reflections; and blue-light reduction that eases eye strain without distorting on-screen colour. Most of the laptop and monitor filters are also reversible — matte on one side, gloss on the other — so you can pick the finish that suits the room. For a plain-language explanation of how the technology works and where offices use it, see our guide to why offices use laptop privacy filters.
One exception on angle: the 21.5″ monitor filter is specified for privacy outside a ±30° angle from the centre of the display, so it cuts in a little earlier than the 60° rating on the other models.
How to choose the right one
Start with the exact device
For MacBooks and Surface devices, choose by model and year — screen sizes and bezels change between generations, so a 14″ MacBook Pro filter is not interchangeable with a 14″ Windows laptop filter.
Then aspect ratio
The same diagonal can be built on different panels. A 14″ laptop may be 16:9 or 16:10; MacBooks are 16:10; Surface devices are 3:2; monitors in this range are 16:9. A filter sized for one ratio will not sit right on another.
Magnetic or tab-and-adhesive
Where both versions exist, the magnetic filter attaches magnetically to the device, while the standard one uses slide-mount tabs or adhesive strips (monitors: adhesive strips or side-mount tabs on the bezel). Pick on how often the filter goes on and off.
Touch and reversibility
Where a size is listed as touch-compatible, touch input passes through the film. The 14″ 16:9 laptop and all monitor filters are listed as not touch-compatible. Reversible (matte-to-gloss) filters are marked on each product page.
Windows laptops
The LapxPro range covers 13″, 14″ and 15.6″ Windows laptops. The 13″ and 15.6″ sizes are for 16:10 displays, and the 14″ size comes in both 16:10 and 16:9 — check your screen’s aspect ratio before ordering. All are reversible and use slide-mount tabs or adhesive strips.

Microsoft Surface
Surface devices use a 3:2 display, so they need their own filters rather than a standard laptop size. There are magnetic filters for the Surface Pro X / Pro 8 (13″) and the Surface Laptop 5 (13.5″), plus a slide-mount tab and adhesive version for the Surface Laptop 5. The magnetic filters are touch-compatible.

MacBooks
MacBook filters are model-specific — every one below is for a 16:10 display, and each size is offered in both a standard (slide-mount tabs or adhesive strips) and a magnetic version. Because MacBook generations differ, the product pages list the model years each filter is made for; send your exact model and year with the enquiry to have the fit confirmed before you order.

Desktop monitors
Monitor filters come in three 16:9 sizes — 21.5″, 23.8″ and 27″. All three are reversible and not touch-compatible. Front-desk, reception, finance and accounts workstations are where these tend to be requested most, since the screen often faces a walkway or a visitor’s seat.
